Dr. Deiaaeldin Adel Mohamed Hosny, a licensed clinical psychologist at Kids Heart Medical Center, holds a Ph.D. and Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy from Cairo University, where his doctoral research focused on “Comparison between the Efficiency of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Pharmacotherapy in Reducing Cocaine Dependence and Relapse Prevention” (2015), and his master’s research examined addiction-related irrational beliefs (2010). He has published in several peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Clinical and Experimental Psychology, and actively contributes to graduate-level study programs. Dr. Deiaa has over a decade of experience, holding licenses from the UAE Department of Health and the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, and has received advanced training in suicidality assessment, behavioral problems, pediatric and adolescent programs, and psychological interventions for multiple sclerosis, dementia, and Parkinson’s disease. He is an active member of the Australian Psychological Society, British Psychological Society, American Psychological Association, and Egyptian Psychotherapists Association. At Kids Heart Medical Center, Dr. Deiaa specializes in clinical assessment and treatment for children and adolescents with various conditions, including depressive and anxiety disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, developmental disorders, and chronic health conditions. He also conducts scientific workshops on ADOS-2, Wechsler and Stanford Binet scales, neuropsychological assessments, CBT, and DBT. His treatment approach is primarily grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy, integrating mindfulness, interpersonal skills, and evidence-based techniques to provide individualized care while collaborating closely with families, educators, and healthcare providers.
