Chernoukhov Dmitry was born in 1993 in Yekaterinburg (Russia) in a family of historians. He graduated with honors from the UrFU Faculty of History: Bachelor’s degree in Documentation and Archival Science (2014), Master’s degree in Tourism (2016), and Ph.D. in History (2022). During his studies, D. E. Chernoukhov was a named scholarship holder of various foundations 11 times. Twice (in the fall semester of 2014 and 2015), having won a grant from Ural Federal University, he studied in Hungary at the Janos Kodolani University of Applied Sciences. In 2015, as a member of the UrFU team, he won the Mayor’s Competition for Students in the Field of Tourism. Based on his academic performance, he entered the TOP 100 graduates of Ural Federal University in 2016. Since 2019, D. E. Chernoukhov has been working at the Department of Socio-Cultural Service and Tourism, and since October 2023, he has been an Associate Professor of the department. He conducts one of the basic courses for the program “Development, Formation, and Conduct of Excursions”, provides project training in this field, and also supervises field excursion and museum practices for students in Kazan (in cooperation with UrFU and Kazan Federal University). Since October 2022, D. E. Chernoukhov has served as Deputy Director of the Ural Humanitarian Institute of UrFU for the development of educational programs and social partnerships. During business trips, he is often appointed as the Acting Director of the UGI UrFU. In 2023, D. E. Chernoukhov became the Head of the federal Russian grant “Names of Russia: The Revival of Historical Memory of the Heroes of the Fatherland” (800,000 rubles), as well as an Expert of the Art Tourism Ugra Project for the implementation of the grant of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives. Since 2023, Dmitry Chernoukhov has also been working as the Manager of Cooperation between Ural Federal University and Zayed Higher Organization.
