Dr. Fatima A.S. Al-Dhaheri is a distinguished public health professional and advocate for people of determination. She holds a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, two Master of Public Health (MPH) degrees. Harver medical school certificate of clinical research, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the United Arab Emirates University. As the Director of Health Care Departments at the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination (ZHO) since September 2018, Dr. Al-Dhaheri oversees three healthcare departments, ensuring excellence in medical services and medical rehabilitation, including physical, occupational, and speech therapies. She manages key projects and partnerships, enhancing services and support for people of determination. Additionally, she directs the Abu Dhabi Community Medicine Residency Program, training medical graduates to become specialists in community health. Dr. Al-Dhaheri’s previous roles include project management in the Chief Medical Officer’s office at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) and various Family Medicine positions and Maternal & Child Health services in Abu Dhabi. Her contributions have been recognized with the Sh. Rashed Award for Science and Culture in 2000 and 2017. Dr. Al-Dhaheri’s leadership and dedication make her a prominent figure in Public Health and Medical Rehabilitation.
