Dr. Teresa Abbattista is a Breast Imaging Unit Head since 2016 – Principe di Piemonte Hospital Senigallia (Ancona-Italy) – Founder and active General Secretary of the association “Accademia Ecografica Senigalliese” devoted to teaching ultrasound to doctors; this association organizes several meetings to take care of ultrasound training of doctors. – Head and Coordinator of the SIUMB Basic School of Ultrasound and SIUMB Senological School since 2016 – President of MASU (Mediterranean and African Society of Ultrasound )I deliver comprehensive lectures on diagnostic senology in diverse formats and instruct on all aspects of basic ultrasound, including specialized sessions on abdominal and superficial tissue sonography. I am fond of driving the development and improvement of ultrasound training techniques and educational strategies.” Main interests: – Breast imaging, interventional biopsy and Magnetic Resonance – Gastrointestinal Imaging including CEUS of the liver and the bowel I discussed several invited lectures in my area of expertise in national and international meetings.
